This work reproduces exactly the original form of the cuban twenty peso bills that were issued in 1960 and later ceased to circulate.The bills were signed by Che Guevara, the same year they were burned. The intervention made by the artist on this object maintains the typography, while the numbering has been changed with the data concerning the date of birth and initials of the artist.
This piece is a glass slide, it is a container of something, beyond its exchange value. In order to change something, it is necessary to perform actions different from the ones we have normalized.
